Cruz Beckham has shared a new single, For Your Love.
The romantic, guitar-driven indie-rock offering was co-written and produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, known for their work with Kim Gordon and Charli XCX, and follows the 20-year-old's debut single Optics, which dropped last October alongside another song called Lick The Toad. He said:
"I love this song. It’s been so fun to play live over the last couple of months. It was the first track I properly finished with Justin and Lewis, who are total legends at what they do, and we all walked away knowing this had really laid the foundations for everything else we’ve created together.
"For me, it’s all about love and being fearless in that love, but I hope everyone can interpret it in their own way and find their own meaning to it."
The song's video is set to premiere on YouTube at 3pm GMT today (February 13) and features Beckham, the son of David and Victoria Beckham, performing the song with his band The Breakers — Dan Ewins, Telmo Seixas and Dario Scotti. There's also a cameo from Beckham's Grandad.
It was announced in January that Beckham and his band will embark on their debut UK and European later this month. Tickets are on sale now.
"I’m so excited to get out on the road, I’ve always been inspired by bands who do it the right way, so I wanna get out there and play loads of small gigs," Beckham said. "I cannot wait to meet the fans and for them to hear the tracks, I can’t believe people have actually spent their hard earned money to come and see me and my band, so we’re gonna put on a show! I’m so buzzing to have our own banner for The Breakers, we’ve only been a support band so far so this time we get our own banner!!"
