Deep Purple will tour North America this summer.
The legendary British rock band—singer Ian Gillan, bassist Roger Glover, drummer Ian Paice, keyboardist Don Airey and guitarist Simon McBride—will kick off the trek on August 4 in Raleigh, North Carolina, before heading to cities including Clarkston, Indianapolis, Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Las Vegas and Long Beach, wrapping up with a performance in Sparks, Nevada on September 12.
Support on the run will come from special guests Kansas, with Jefferson Starship also appearing on select dates. Tickets for all shows go on general sale at 10am local time on Thursday (April 2).
Deep Purple also have UK and European shows in the diary for the fall, including a special show at London's Royal Albert Hall on November 25, returning to the venue where in 1969 they made history as the first rock band to premiere a full classical composition with an orchestra.
They also have concerts scheduled across Asia and a run of European dates set for spring and summer, including a newly announced headline appearance at Montreux Jazz Festival on July 13 and a trio of Mexico shows in December. Tickets for the majority of dates are on sale now, except for their Montreux show that goes on sale at 12pm local time on April 1.
Deep Purple are finishing up work on a currently untitled new studio album, the follow-up to 2024's Bob Ezrin-produced '=1', with Gillan revealing in a recent interview with Songwriting For Songwriters that it'll arrive in June.
