Dan Michaelson and The Coastguards is a British indie rock singer-songwriter from London.
Starting his music career in 2003, as the frontman of Absentee; the band released three albums, before Michaelson launched his solo career in 2009. He released his debut solo album, ‘Saltwater’, in 2009, followed by ‘Shakes’ the following year and ‘Sudden Fiction’, a year later. ‘Blindspot’ was released in 2013 and was the first of a trilogy, which also included ‘Distance’, which was released in 2014 and ‘Memory’ that came out in May 2016.
