LOMA is an alternative band consisting of Emily Cross of Cross Record, Dan Duszynski, and Jonathan Meiburg of Shearwater. The trio met on tour together in 2016 and secretly formed a new band.
When they first started to record their first record, Cross and Duszynski were a married couple. But, their relationship came to an end during the sessions - an atmosphere Meiburg found challenging but strangely inspiring, and ultimately informed the sound of the record.
The band's self-titled debut album comes out in February 2018 on Sub Pop records, and they'll accompany the release with UK and EU tour dates. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

Loma’s self titled debut is a record that requires multiple attentive listens. A collaboration between two bands is bound to bring a fascinating quality to any record, and this melding of alt-folk duo Cross Record - Emily Cross and Dan Duszynski - with Shearwater’s Jonathan Meiburg is certainly one to get lost in. Throughout their self-titled debut, the trio develop, grow, and work out what Loma is, just as the writing process allowed Cross and Duszynski to develop, grow, and work out what their marriage is. Or isn’t, as the case may be.
