The Last Shadow Puppets are a British band from Sheffield, consisting of Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and Miles Kane.
Founded in 2007, Turner and Kane had become friends when Kane’s former band The Little Flames supported Arctic Monkeys on tour in 2005, and begun working on a collaborative project in 2007. The band released their debut, ‘The Age Of The Understatement’, in 2008, which went to #1 in the UK Albums Chart, and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. The band are set to release their second album, ‘Everything You've Come To Expect’, on April 1, 2016. The band have toured the UK and USA, as well as playing Reading and Leeds and Glastonbury festivals, and are set to return to the road in March and April 2016, as well as playing summer shows in the UK and and Ireland this July.
