Wye Oak is an American synth-drive indie and folk outfit hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. Formed in 2006, it consists of just frontman and guitarist Jenn Wasner, and drummer and synths-player Andy Stack, and theyre signed to Merge Records.
Named after the official tree of their homestate, the dynamic duo are known for their impressive live shows, which maintain a sweet level of performance despite the fact there are just two of them; Stack plays drums with his feet and one hand, and the keyboard with his other, while Wasner sings and alternates from guitar and synths.
Boasting a strong discography, they released their Tween in June 2016, and their latest record, 'The Louder I Call, The Faster It Runs', in April 2018.
After touring the US and Canada this summer, Wye Oak head to the UK for more shows in August. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
