The Damned Reveal Dates For 35th Anniversary UK Tour & Tickets

The Damned, the first English punk-rock band to storm America have announced a string of UK shows for their 35th Anniversary tour in November 2011.

Fighting the power alongside their contemporaries such as the Sex Pistols, The Clash and Sham 69, The Damned are noted for leading the very first wave of English punk-rock. Notching up dozens of albums and singles, 'New Rose' being the first track taken from their 1977 debut album 'Damned, Damned, Damned', the Damned's ever-changing line-up has survived through countless styles and phases in it's 35 year existence.

Pioneering the punk-rock movement in the 1970s, The Damned also ran as one of the early gothic bands of the 1980s. Singer Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible and Rat Scabies have departed and returned to the band on many occasions but today The Damned are recording brand new music and giving their loyal fans another chance to see live performances as part of the group's 35th Anniversary tour.
