Thrash titans Metallica will be making a massive announcement tomorrow, after a teaser video released via YouTube told fans to ‘save the date’ – which has been set for February 7th.
The announcement will come through their official website, where they also quietly left a short message for fans, which reads: “Hey boys and girls... a date to note from your friendly 'Tallica boys, Tuesday, February 7 at 11am Pacific time... right here!” 11am Pacific Time equates to 7pm over here in the UK.
The video, which you can watch below, opens with shots of huge cheering crowds, then cuts to the message: “You’ve seen them at festivals across the world... But you’ve never seen them... Tune in Tuesday Feb. 7th 11am PST (7pm GMT)... Metallica.com”
While no official confirmation of what is to come has been made yet, it could very easily be a 3D film or show announcement. We published an article earlier in the year about it – check it out here.
