MØ Offers Up Another Taste Of 'Forever Neverland' With New Track Way Down

MØ has dropped a new single.
Way Down was written with songwriter Cara Salimando and produced by Stint, who is also the executive producer of her new album, 'Forever Neverland'. The follow up to last year's 'When I Was Young' EP will arrive on October 19. Her last LP, meanwhile, was her 2014 debut, 'No Mythologies to Follow'.
The Danish singer said:
“My new song 'Way Down' is a semi-apocalyptic song about feeling scared and depressed about the ways of world politics these days. All information - both true and fake - just seems so chaotic and frightening that sometimes you want escape it for a moment and go 'get drunk with your baby' in the hopes of waking up reset and able."
Head below to check out the record's trailer, tracklist and Way Down. The song finds MØ delivering her unique strain of synth-pop, while also recalling Lykke Li with her vocal approach. "I just wanna get fucked up with my baby. Catch me on the bottom, 'cos I'm on my way down," she sings.
