Taylor Swift Reveals Title Track Of New Album 'Lover'

Friday, 16 August 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Taylor Swift has revealed the title track from her new album.

‘Lover’ is due for release on August 23, and has already seen the arrival of lead singles ME!, You Need To Calm Down, and The Archer.

Lover takes the superstar vocalist back to her country-pop roots and is a slow-paced romantic number that could compete with the lyrics of Ed Sheeran for the top choice of first dance songs at a wedding.

‘Lover’ is the first new material from Swift since her 2017 album, 'Reputation', which she toured extensively. She subsequently released the Reputation Stadium Tour concert film on December 31, 2018.
