Mastodon Share New Track Teardrinker From Upcoming Album 'Hushed And Grim'

Mastodon have released a new song, Teardrinker.
Following Pushing The Tides, the catchy track serves as the second early single from the Atlanta rock band's upcoming ninth studio LP, 'Hushed And Grim'.
Led by Troy Sanders and Brann Dailor trading mournful vocals over driving drums and '80s goth-rock-influenced guitars, the song taps into Mastodon's more introspective side. It comes paired with a trippy music video directed by Lorenzo Diego Carrera that you can watch below.
The follow-up to 2017's Grammy Award-winning 'Emperor Of Sand' will arrive through Reprise Records on October 29, marking their first double album. They dropped their 'Medium Rarities' compilation in 2020, and put out new songs on the Bill & Ted Face The Music and Dark Nights: Death Metal soundtracks.
They'll embark on a co-headline North American tour with Opeth this autumn, and return to the UK's Download festival in summer 2022, following the event's cancellation in 2020 and 2021.
