Gorillaz Unveil New Single Baby Queen

Friday, 04 November 2022 Written by Laura Johnson

Gorillaz have released a new single, Baby Queen.

The synth and bass-led track finds bandleader Damon Albarn recalling a time in the '90s when a Thai princess attended a Blur concert. The song is the latest preview of the animated band's new album, 'Cracker Island', due out on February 24.

We've already heard the title track featuring Thundercat, and New Gold featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown. The record also boasts collaborations with Stevie Nicks, Adeleye Omotayo, Bad Bunny, and Beck.
