Sleaford Mods Post New Single So Trendy Featuring Perry Farrell Of Jane's Addiction

Sleaford Mods have shared a new single, So Trendy.
The snappy dance-punk track features Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction, and serves as the third preview of the Nottingham duo's imminent album, 'UK GRIM', which is due out this Friday (March 10). Jason Williamson said:
"Perry got in touch and said he wanted to work with us. He’s a really cool guy and his back catalogue clearly speaks for itself, so we jumped at it, and So Trendy grew from there."
"So Trendy concerns itself with the ongoing polarisation of living life through smart devices," he added. "The daily experience is a series of passwords or facial recognitions that lead us into familiar Arenas of consumer marketing and conformity."
It follows January's title track, and their collaboration with Dry Cleaning's Florence Shaw on February's Force 10 From Navarone. Head below to view the AI-generated video, engineered by John Minton.
Sleaford Mods will play intimate gigs in Nottingham and London following the release of the LP. They'll also play a run of North American shows around their appearance at Coachella in California in April. In November, they'll embark on a tour of the UK and Ireland. Tickets are on sale.
