The Streets have announced a series of outdoor UK shows for summer 2026. The Streets tickets go on general sale at 10am today.
Mike Skinner and Co will perform their landmark album, 2004's 'A Grand Don’t Come For Free', at Dreamland on June 26 as part of the Margate Summer Series, Bristol Sounds at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre on June 25 and 27, Sounds Of The City at Manchester's Castlefield Bowl on July 10 and 11, followed by performances at London's Alexandra Palace Park on July 16 and 18, and Live at Ludlow Castle in Shropshire on July 23.
They'll also appear at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds on July 24, and at Audley End Estate in Essex on August 7 for Heritage Live, before wrapping up the run at Earlham Park, Norwich on August 21 for the Rock N Roll Circus series. Skinner said:
"'A Grand Don’t Come For Free' was a moment in time — for me, and for everyone who grew up with it. I wrote it as a story from beginning to end, even studying screenwriting to shape it and without the faintest idea how people would react. We’ve been looking for something bold to do with the live show, and we landed here: some tracks have never been played live, others haven’t surfaced in years. It’s a new challenge to bring the whole journey to life on stage, but I have an incredible band and we always give everything every night. So I’m certain we’ll make finding out what happened to that thousand quid a party every night."
The band also recently announced they'll take the album tour to Australia in March. Tickets for those dates go on general sale at 10am local time next Friday (October 24).
Last month, The Streets dropped the single Utopia, which followed their earlier tracks Brave St Andrew (written for the Amazon Prime Video documentary Built In Birmingham: Brady and the Blues), You Think You've Been Buried, and How To Win At Rock Paper Scissors.
Their latest album is 2023's 'The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light', which has a companion film currently streaming on YouTube. Last summer, Skinner released a remixed edition of 'Fabric Presents The Streets' which included the singles End Of The Queue and No Better Than Chance.
Earlier this year, they headlined Meltdown Festival's opening night at London’s Royal Festival Hall, curated by Little Simz.
