The Beat tour dates and tickets
The Beat (known as the English Beat in the US) are a British ska outfit hailing from Birmingham, who fuse elements of Latin, ska, pop, soul, reggae and punk rock.

The group formed in 1978 and consisted of longtime frontman Ranking Roger, drummer Everett Morton and guitarist Andy Cox, alongside a band of talented musicians, until Rankin died in 2019. During their time together, the group released three albums throughout the 1980s, 'I Just Can't Stop It', 'Wha'ppen?' and 'Special Beat Service'.

Best known for singles such as Mirror in the Bathroom, Too Nice To Talk To, Can't Get Used To Losing You, Hands off She's Mine and All Out To Get You, they’re easily one of the country’s favourite ska and new wave outfits. After reforming in 2006, the band are still doing their thing today, despite the sad loss of their longstanding frontman. Dave Wakeling has since taken over on vocal duties.

Over the years, they've played all over the UK, with headline shows, support slots with the likes of David Bowie, The Clash, The Police, The Pretenders, R.E.M., The Specials and Talking Heads, as well as festival sets at Slam Dunk and charity shows for Nordoff Robbins.

The Beat have rescheduled their 40th anniversary UK tour to summer 2022 in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.
