The Killers have released a new single, Your Side Of Town.
Introducing the track prior to its release, the band said: "It's got the ghosts of a lot of the synth music that inspired us over the years. And yet, somehow, feels completely our own." It's clear to see what they mean within the first minute of the synth-heavy track, which is melodically remiscent of New Order's True Faith.
The song follows their one-off single Boy, which came out in 2022. Their last album, meanwhile, was 2021's 'Pressure Machine'.
Your Side Of Town arrives ahead of their headline sets at Reading and Leeds this weekend, and their shows at Edinburgh’s Royal Highlands Centre on August 29, and Belfast’s Boucher Road Playing Fields on September 1. They will also headline Electric Picnic in Ireland on September 3.
