The Streets have announced more UK shows for summer 2026, as well as a tour of Australia and New Zealand for earlier in the year.
Mike Skinner and Co have lined up shows in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth between March 1 and 8. They'll also appear at New Zealand's Electric Avenue festival on February 27.
Due to demand, they've also confirmed second shows at the Canon's Marsh Amphitheatre for the Bristol Sounds series on June 25, Manchester's Castlefield Bowl on July 10 as part of the Sounds Of The City series, and Alexandra Palace Park in London on July 16.
The summer tour will begin at Dreamland on June 26 as part of the Margate Summer Series. It will also include headline sets at Live at Ludlow Castle in Shropshire on July 23, Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds on July 24, and Audley End Estate in Essex on August 7 for Heritage Live, before wrapping up the run at Earlham Park, Norwich on August 21 for the Rock N Roll Circus series.
All their 2026 shows will see the band perform their landmark album, 2004's 'A Grand Don’t Come For Free', in full. Skinner said:
"'A Grand Don’t Come For Free' was a moment in time — for me, and for everyone who grew up with it. I wrote it as a story from beginning to end, even studying screenwriting to shape it and without the faintest idea how people would react. We’ve been looking for something bold to do with the live show, and we landed here: some tracks have never been played live, others haven’t surfaced in years. It’s a new challenge to bring the whole journey to life on stage, but I have an incredible band and we always give everything every night. So I’m certain we’ll make finding out what happened to that thousand quid a party every night."
Tickets for all UK dates go on general sale at 10am tomorrow (October 17). Tickets for Australia go on general sale at 10am local time on October 24.
The Streets dropped the single Utopia in September, which followed their earlier tracks Brave St Andrew (written for the Amazon Prime Video documentary Built In Birmingham: Brady and the Blues), You Think You've Been Buried, and How To Win At Rock Paper Scissors.
Their latest album is 2023's 'The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light', which has a companion film currently streaming on YouTube. Last summer, Skinner released a remixed edition of 'Fabric Presents The Streets' which included the singles End Of The Queue and No Better Than Chance.
