Shed Seven have announced a summer show in Halifax.
The Britpop legends will celebrate the 30th anniversary of 'A Maximum High' with a full album performance, plus a set of greatest hits, at the Live At The Piece Hall series on June 6. The show will be Shed Seven's only headline performance of summer 2026. Support will come from special guests Seb Lowe and The Guest List. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (October 24).
Shed Seven singer Rick Witter said: "We are looking forward to giving ' A Maximum High’ the birthday party it deserves. We’re especially excited to be revisiting some of the songs we haven’t played for decades. We hope that fans will come from far and wide to join us at this ‘one night only’ huge celebratory event."
Also set to appear at the Halifax concert series next summer are Embrace, Ethel Cain, David Gray, Billy Ocean, Opeth and The Ks. Get ticket details for those shows here.
Shed Seven will also appear at the Isle Of Wight Festival in June, featuring headliners Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris and The Cure, before supporting Richard Ashcroft at Englefield Estate in Berkshire in July as part of the Heritage Live series. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
Last year, Shed Seven released their two chart-topping studio albums, 'A Matter Of Time' and 'Liquid Gold'. The achievements placed the band among the ranks of The Beatles, Elton John, Diana Ross, Queen, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and ABBA, all of whom have earned two UK number one albums within a single year. Last year, they also dropped 'Changed Giver', a revisiting of their 1994 debut LP 'Change Giver'.
In May of this year, they released 'Liquid Gold (Live At York Museum Gardens Edition)', recorded during the band's hometown performance last July.
