Kneecap Share Second Single Smugglers & Scholars From Upcoming Album 'FENIAN'

Kneecap have shared a new single, Smugglers & Scholars.
Drawing on a Detroit-style hip hop sound, the dark, bass-heavy track sees the Irish rap trio tackling idealised views of Ireland, reflecting on a time when people united to create change. Kneecap said:
"A track that's reminiscing on Revolutionary times in Ireland, driven by a hopefulness, when the working class, academics and good people everywhere united and took action in search of a better future."
It marks the second preview of their Dan Carey-produced new album, 'FENIAN', due out on April 24 via Heavenly Recordings, and follows the lead single, Liars Tale, which dropped last month alongside details of the album.
Kneecap will play out-store gigs in Kingston, Brighton, Bristol, Nottingham, Dundee, Edinburgh and London alongside the release of 'FENIAN'. Tickets are on sale now.
The intimate shows will take place before their biggest headline performance so far at London's Crystal Palace Park on June 27, where they'll be joined by The Mary Wallopers, Fat Dog, Biig Piig, Gurriers and Madra Salach. They'll also appear at several UK and European festivals, including AVA Festival in Belfast, Primavera Barcelona and Porto, Roskilde, Rock Werchter, Boomtown Fair, and Reading andLeeds.
