Phoebe Bridgers Shares Video For New Track Garden Song

Thursday, 27 February 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Phoebe Bridgers has released a new track.

The reflective Garden Song arrives with a bizarre video directed by the singer-songwriter's younger brother Jackson, and marks her first new solo material since her 2017 debut album 'Stranger in the Alps' — not including her 2019 Christmas single

It was recorded at Sound City Studios, California, with production handled by Bridgers and her long-term collaborators Tony Berg and Ethan Gruska. The clip, meanwhile, stars comedian Tig Notaro and gets a bit weird after Bridgers has a quick bong hit.

Following spring dates supporting the National, Bridgers will join the 1975 at their huge show in London's Finsbury Park on July 11, and appear at Latitude Festival on July 17.

Bridgers has also recently been busy with Better Oblivion Community Center, her collaborative project with Conor Oberst, and teamed up with the National's Matt Berninger for Walking On A String last October.
