Gorillaz Post New Song Silent Running Featuring Adeleye Omotayo

Gorillaz have shared another single from their upcoming album.
Hypnotic and psychedelic, Silent Running features Humanz Choir vocalist Adeleye Omotayo. It marks the first track worked on by Gorillaz and Grammy Award-winning producer Greg Kurstin for 'Cracker Island', which is due out on February 24.
In a statement, Damon Albarn described the song as, "that sort of mesmerizing dreamlike state you get in when you’re just following some train of thought." 2-D added: "Sometimes I get well lost and end up in the wrong place but then it turns out that’s where I was meant to be going anyway."
An accompanying video, directed by Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett and Nexus Studios director Fx Goby, will be released soon. Head below for a teaser.
Gorillaz will appear at Coachella in California in April. This summer, the group's Damon Albarn will reunite with Blur for their first shows in eight years.
